Who is the intended audience?

Our NerdyGirl readers are predominately women of ages that range from 17-35. We have divided our demographic into two types of NerdyGirls’:

1. Nerdy Girl Novice is defined as a person who is searching for personal development along with increased business acumen.

2. Nerdy Girl Professional defined as professionals looking for strategic professional development and additional career growth.

Both audiences are growth-focused, who have an active interest in the overall career development experience.  Our readers require a blend of simple/introductory articles for topics new to them and more complex, advanced pieces for topics they already specialize in. This gives us the opportunity to provide our reader-base with a balance of basic and complex articles, for them to tailor to their own needs.

What is the requirement for the length of the post?

Our posts range in length, but are usually 500 – 800 words, or more but no more than 1200 words. Generally, we expect the posts to be long enough to explore the topic but short enough to keep our readers engaged.

Who owns my posts?

Our authors retain ownership of their work. However, any content published on will be covered by the Creative Commons Attribution NonCommercial ShareAlike 3.0 license. This allows us to publish your work for non-commercial purposes as long as we credit you as the author.
